根據Chainalysis的報告，朝鮮黑客在2025年竊取了價值約20.2億美元的加密貨幣，相比前一年成長51%，累計總額達67.5億美元。其中，朝鮮被指與Bybit加密交易所於2025年2月21日左右的15億美元虛擬資產竊案有關。

有報導指出，朝鮮黑客小組UNC 5342透過以太坊區塊鏈上的智慧合約，投放高度複雜的惡意軟體，展現其技術上的高度專業性與攻擊能力。
